FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE by Wyatt Motorsports info@caseywyattracing.com Casey Wyatt NASCAR Camping World Series Driver, NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Series, INEX Legends Series & Pro-Winged Champ Kart Driver
Newport News, VA- To say that Casey Wyatt has had an interesting race season, would be an understatement; his debut in the Busch East series was more than anyone could have hoped for. Having made the field on time, with no provisional options in his first showing was nothing short of awesome. Although the team didn’t finish the season being able to compete in the 5 Busch East races it had hoped to compete in, Casey and his team rounded out 2007with some stellar performances.
This season found Casey competing in four very different series, for four different team owners at multiple venues. Casey competed in the NASCAR Busch East Series for team owner and father Wayne Wyatt, the Whelen All-American Late Model Series for Butch Britt, the HRKC Winged Pro Champ Karts for Bill Mullis and the INEX Legends Series for Dee Causey. All things totaled, Casey had a banner year. This is the first year in his career that he has competed for multiple teams, not to mention competing in everything from a sprint kart and an open wheeled Legend; all the way to a Busch chassis. He brought home 8 wins, 19 top fives, 25 top tens and two poles. In his last Whelen All-American Late Model Series start of the season, he qualified a disappointing 9th and was ready to call it a night. But when the checkered flag waved he had his season best finish of 2nd, only .198 seconds behind the eventual track champion. Casey’s plans for the 2008 racing are still in the making and a full release is forthcoming. Until then you can catch him and his Rogers Electrical Whelen All-American Late Model Series teammate Dean Shifflett at the 2007 Fall Classic at Florence Motor Speedway in Florence, South Carolina November 2-4. Casey would like to thank his father Wayne Wyatt and crew for all of their endless hours of effort and dedication to him and his racing in the Busch East and Late Model Series’. He would also like to thank Bill Mullis, Butch Britt and Dee Causey for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to race for them this season. As always, racing is impossible without sponsors. Through Casey’s many teams, there were quite a few. He would like to thank the following businesses for their support: Wyatt Homes, B&C Seafood, Bostic Electric, Dixie RV Superstore, Rogers Electrical, Kim Jusino- Associate Broker, Hampton Roads Harley Davidson, CBX Custom Modulars, Advanced Technology Institute, Advanced Custom Coatings, The Pizza Shop, Ductworx and Oyster Point Title. Wyatt Motorsports is currently seeking sponsorship for their 2008 Busch East season.
