Casey Wyatt Redirects Focus in 2008
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE by Casey Wyatt Racing info@caseywyattracing.com
April 7, 2008
NASCAR Camping World Series, Whelen All-American Series, UARA & INEX
Newport News, VA- There comes a time when you realize that you need to focus your efforts in a new direction. With the economy in the state that it is in, it has become more apparent than ever that to get a chance to showcase your talents to an established team, you need sponsors.

After numerous meetings during the off season it has become obvious that Casey Wyatt Racing needs to change the manner in which they approach the business aspect of motorsports.

Casey Wyatt Racing has teamed with Bill Linyear and LEI Solutions of Richmond VA; to create a media package to forward to potential sponsors. The package highlights Casey's career accomplishments and future plans in the sport. Linyear is currently working with corporations that have shown an interest in being involved with motorsports and aims to forge a sponsorship agreement with Casey Wyatt Racing.

Wyatt stated, "In today's competitive world of racing, a driver has to bring sponsors to the table to open doors. I understand that it takes a great deal of money to operate a race team at the level of racing I am pursuing. I have verbal commitments from teams in the Craftsman Truck, ARCA, and the Hooters Pro Cup Series that have top notch equipment; if I can bring a committed sponsor, I can race for them. While trying to secure the proper sponsorship to drive in the above series, I will still be racing in other series that we have our own equipment to do so in. We will be racing in NASCAR’s Camping World Series, the
Whelen All-American Series, UARA, INEX, and will take advantage of any other promising opportunities that are available. “

Wyatt further states, “I am working with some very good people that are committed to furthering my career. They believe in my talents and my dedication to make it in this sport. We will keep everyone updated on our progress in securing a sponsor and how we are doing with our racing. Anyone interested in discussing with us; a program for your company, please feel free to contact us.”

Casey Wyatt Closes 2007 on a Positive Note

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE by Wyatt Motorsports info@caseywyattracing.com Casey Wyatt NASCAR Camping World Series Driver, NASCAR Whelen All-American Late Model Series, INEX Legends Series & Pro-Winged Champ Kart Driver

Newport News, VA- To say that Casey Wyatt has had an interesting race season, would be an understatement; his debut in the Busch East series was more than anyone could have hoped for. Having made the field on time, with no provisional options in his first showing was nothing short of awesome. Although the team didn’t finish the season being able to compete in the 5 Busch East races it had hoped to compete in, Casey and his team rounded out 2007with some stellar performances.

This season found Casey competing in four very different series, for four different team owners at multiple venues. Casey competed in the NASCAR Busch East Series for team owner and father Wayne Wyatt, the Whelen All-American Late Model Series for Butch Britt, the HRKC Winged Pro Champ Karts for Bill Mullis and the INEX Legends Series for Dee Causey.

All things totaled, Casey had a banner year. This is the first year in his career that he has competed for multiple teams, not to mention competing in everything from a sprint kart and an open wheeled Legend; all the way to a Busch chassis. He brought home 8 wins, 19 top fives, 25 top tens and two poles. In his last Whelen All-American Late Model Series start of the season, he qualified a disappointing 9th and was ready to call it a night. But when the checkered flag waved he had his season best finish of 2nd, only .198 seconds behind the eventual track champion.

Casey’s plans for the 2008 racing are still in the making and a full release is forthcoming. Until then you can catch him and his Rogers Electrical Whelen All-American Late Model Series teammate Dean Shifflett at the 2007 Fall Classic at Florence Motor Speedway in Florence, South Carolina November 2-4.

Casey would like to thank his father Wayne Wyatt and crew for all of their endless hours of effort and dedication to him and his racing in the Busch East and Late Model Series’. He would also like to thank Bill Mullis, Butch Britt and Dee Causey for believing in him and giving him the opportunity to race for them this season.

As always, racing is impossible without sponsors. Through Casey’s many teams, there were quite a few. He would like to thank the following businesses for their support: Wyatt Homes, B&C Seafood, Bostic Electric, Dixie RV Superstore, Rogers Electrical, Kim Jusino- Associate Broker, Hampton Roads Harley Davidson, CBX Custom Modulars, Advanced Technology Institute, Advanced Custom Coatings, The Pizza Shop, Ductworx and Oyster Point Title.

Casey Wyatt Claims the pole and 2nd @ Florence Motor Speedway

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE by Wyatt Motorsports

November 12, 2007: Casey Wyatt

NASCAR Busch East Rookie, Whelen All-American Late Model Series, INEX Legends Series &

Pro-Winged Champ Kart Driver

Florence, SC- Casey Wyatt traveled to Florence, SC to compete in the annual Seneca Fall Classic. After qualifying came to a close, Casey had burned off the quickest lap time to secure the pole.

Early in the running, he settled into second behind the outside polesitter. On several occasions he pulled alongside to reclaim the top spot, but decided to save the car for the latter part of the race.

Just past the ½ way mark, Casey spun out in the exit of turn 2 to avoid a wreck ahead of him; he was hit by two other competitors. Race officials decided his spin took place after the caution was thrown. The damage wasn't race ending, so he assumed his position in second place.

Lap traffic and a persistent brake problem prevented him from vying for the lead position again and he brought the #29 Rogers Electrical Monte Carlo back home to VA with a pole and a second place finish.

Casey will be returning to South Carolina Thanksgiving weekend for the Seneca Turkey 300 at Dillon Motor Speedway. Wyatt Motorsports is currently seeking sponsorship for their 2008 Busch East season. Wyatt Motorrsports is Optimistic about this Weeks 100 Lap Late Mpdel Feature

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE by Wyatt Motorsports info@caseywyattracing.com

September 13, 2007: Casey Wyatt NASCAR Busch East Rookie, Whelen All-American Late Model Series, INEX Legends Series & Pro-Winged Champ Kart Driver

Langley Speedway, HamptonVA- As tradition has it, Langley Speedway was closed last weekend for the Nextel Cup race at RIR. Going into this weekend’s race, the teams have had a week off to rest and regroup for the 100 lap Crossroads Fuel Late Model feature.

The desire for Casey and his team at Langley Speedway this year has been to win races. After starting from scratch this with a different chassis; being competitive has become the challenge. However, they have been a consistent 6th or better.  But no wins in the Late Model series- yet.

Two weeks ago, Casey began the day fastest in practice, but started the race from the fourth spot. By lap 41 he had dropped back to the sixth spot and was fighting an extremely tight car when the caution flag waved for a spun car. Crew chief Sam Gaita discussed the need for some adjustments and Casey agreed that being the last car on the lead lap; in sixth place, there wasn’t much to lose. After his crew completed his adjustments, Casey returned to the race on the lead lap, behind the lap traffic. Within two laps, he had completed the pass of 7 competitors and by lap 53 had regained his position in 6th

The 75 lap feature raced to the checkers without any additional cautions. The final 23 laps of the race, Casey was turning off some of the fastest laps in the field. Open practice tonight yielded even better laps on used tires than his last race. Therefore, the team is optimistic about their return to racing this weekend.

HRKC Winged Pro Champ Karts Sponsored by Kim Jusino: Casey will start his evening by competing in the Bill Mullis owned, Front Row Racing champ kart. In six starts, Casey has amasses 4 top 5’s and 2 wins. This week will be the last Saturday night appearance for the HRKC Winged Pro Champ Karts and Casey hopes to be a challenger for the win.

Come on out and support Casey and his Rogers Electrical and Front Row Racing teammates. Gates open at 1 pm and racing starts at 7 pm.   Casey Wyatt is a rookie in the NASCAR Busch East series for Wyatt Motorsports, whom competes as part of a three kart Pro-Winged Champ Kart team owned by Bill Mullis, a two car Whelen All-American Late Model team owned by Butch Britt and a two car 600 Racing  Legend car owned by Dee Causey of Causey Racing.

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE by Wyatt Motorsports

August 28, 2007: Casey Wyatt

NASCAR Busch East Rookie, Whelen All-American Late Model Series, INEX Legends Series &

Pro-Winged Champ Kart Driver

600 Racing Legends for Causey Racing - Casey Wyatt and his Causey Racing team owners are thrilled with his performance this weekend; especially since he wasn’t planning to compete for them until Thursday night.

Southside Speedway, MidlothianVA:  Friday night, Casey made only his third appearance in the Legends series. In the heat race he came to the stripe in third position which relegated him to a fifth place starting position for the feature. After the start of the feature, Casey quickly moved to the third position, which is where he would complete his second run of the evening. Casey has finished on the podium in every feature event since he began racing for Causey Racing at Southside Speedway.

Langley Speedway, HamptonVA:  Saturday night, Casey turned off his best qualifying effort in the Legend series. Starting fourth is never a racers favorite place to be- the outside. By lap two, he had secured the third position. As the heat came to the tires, it was very clear that he had his best ride yet ahead of him in the Legend Series at Langley Speedway.

His long run momentum was marred by cautions and his admitted need to perfect his restarts. However, his car was the fastest when the checkers flew and no one doubts that had he been able to roll on caution free, he would have been a strong contender for the victory. Casey stated “WOW this car was awesome. I definitely had a run when I could keep the heat in the tires. I really need to work on my restarts, these guys have tons of experience with restarts and it showed tonight. I’ll work on it though. We’ll get us one real soon!”

Casey would like to thank Dee Causey and Causey Racing for the opportunity to race for them in the 600 Racing Legends series. He would also like to thank his sponsors CBX Custom Modulars, ATI (Automotive Technology Institute), Ductworx, Advanced Custom Coatings, The Pizza Shop and Oyster Point Title.

NASCAR Busch East Rookie, Whelen All-American Late Model Series, INEX Legends Series &

Pro-Winged Champ Kart Driver

Langley Speedway, HamptonVA- Casey returned to Late Model Racing in his Rogers Electrical Monte Carlo for Butch Britt racing this past weekend. At Langley Speedway, the Dodge manufacturer domination has had great hold on the Late Model series, so Casey and his Team 29 crew were excited about pacing the fastest laps in practice over the Dodges.

Qualifying was a bit exciting as Casey got sideways coming out of turn four due to miscalculations for tire pressures. This didn’t affect his effort tremendously as he put himself in fifth starting position for the 75 lap feature. At the start of the race, it was clear to all that the car was throwing everything that it could at Casey. It was a beast in the turns. This was extremely obvious when a challenge for position was mounted by driver Mark Wertz. Realizing his Rogers Electrical Monte Carlo wasn’t a winning car, he concentrated on protecting his position and keeping his car square off of the turns.

When the checkers flew, Casey brought home a strong 5th place finish just one position ahead of his Rogers Electrical teammate Dean Shiflett. This would cap off an extremely busy and successful weekend for him with four top 5’s, three of them being 3rd place finishes.

Wyatt Motorsports is currently seeking sponsorship for their 2008 Busch East season. For more information about Casey Wyatt and his racing efforts, visit  www.caseywyattracing.com or call Chrissy Ward at (757) 291-7663.

THIS WEEK:  Casey plans to run a double header at Langley Speedway. On schedule for him is a 75 lap Late Model feature and a 20 lap Sr. Pro Winged Champ Kart feature. Come on out and support Casey and his Britt and Front Row Racing teammates this Saturday night; racing starts at 7 pm.

Two Top 5’s for Casey Wyatt at Langley Speedway

Langley Speedway, Hampton VA- Casey Wyatt and Causey Racing started the Peninsula Hardwood Mulch Legends event from third and eighth position. By lap 5 Casey had moved from eighth to fifth position. However he got caught up in a fierce battle between series regulars, and laid back to wait for the fires to cool. On lap 15, the bubble burst ahead of Casey as he pulled to the bottom of the track to complete the pass of the carnage. After the restart, he retained his spot in fifth and brought the #23 Causey Racing Legend home in fifth place.

In other Legend news, Casey is part of the Semi-Pro competitors on the State and National level with INEX. Three of his five starts ever have resulted in two firsts and a second place finish for the State and National standings with INEX. Car owner Dee Causey and teammate Rhet Causey are thrilled with his success thus far.

Casey & Causey Racings next appearance in the INEX Legends series will be tonight at Southside Speedway in Midlothian VA. We wish the all the best of luck.

He Gets Knocked Down But Gets Up Again

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE by Wyatt Motorsports

info@caseywyattracing.com

August 24, 2007: Casey Wyatt

NASCAR Busch East Rookie, Whelen All-American Late Model Series, INEX Legends Series &

Pro-Winged Champ Kart Driver

Langley Speedway, Hampton VA- Today, Casey and Wyatt Motorsports team owner Wayne Wyatt are in their Newport News VA race shop preparing for this weekends local short track racing at Southside and Langley Speedways. The disappointing element in this is that they should be at Mansfield Raceway Park in Mansfield Ohio getting ready for Saturday's 150 lap BUSCH East event.

This Tuesday, the crew loaded their Monte Carlo up and headed to Langley Speedway to shake the car down before leaving for Mansfield this Thursday. The last time Casey drove the car was in Stafford Springs CT in June. The team left CT jolted when the throttle hung wide open going into turn three on the third lap of practice. Like a bad nightmare, Casey entered turn three at Langley Speedway on the third lap of practice, when the throttle hung wide open again and their newly built Monte Carlo plowed the wall in turn three; destroying the car and any hopes of returning to BUSCH East competition for the 2007 season.

Team owner Wayne Wyatt has spent the last three days calling the engine builder, chassis specialists and other teams to see if anyone else is having similar problems. He and other key members of the Wyatt Motorsports team are speculating several different possibilities for the cause of the problem. But ultimately, they must start from the bottom once again to try and come up with a solution to this agonizing issue.

Completely distraught over this week's turn of events, Casey has turned to the one thing that completes him- RACING. After meeting with the team this morning, evaluating the damage to the BUSCH East car and developing a plan to repair it, Casey is headed to Southside Speedway in Midlothian VA to compete in the Legends event for Causey Racing. Last week at SSS Casey pulled off two second place finishes. He narrowly missed his first victory in only his second start there. After leading the final four circuits, Legends veteran Cameron Patrick who was running 2nd looked under Casey on the exit of turn four and shoved him up the track where he collided with the wall. He did manage to hold onto a 2nd place finish.

He will complete his weekend tomorrow night at Langley Speedway in the Peninsula Hardwood Mulch Legends and the Crossroads Fuel Late Model 75 for Butch Britt Racing. Come on out and support Casey and his Causey and Britt Racing teammates.

Casey Wyatt is a rookie in the NASCAR Busch East series for Wyatt Motorsports, whom competes as part of a three kart Pro-Winged Champ Kart team owned by Bill Mullis, a two car Whelen All-American Late Model team owned by Butch Britt and a two car Legend team owned by Dee Causey.

Wyatt Rises to the Challenge with Another Top 5

Langley Speedway, Hampton VA- Casey Wyatt and Team 29 returned to racing action this past Saturday for their second attempt at breaking the Dodge stronghold on the Late Model division. Thursday evening’s test session had left the team with high hopes after turning impressive times with tires as used up as 250 laps. They knew there could be some hidden variables, such as weather and sticker tires that may affect their lap times. But they didn’t expect what they were met with in the first practice.

Mediocre handling a slower lap times forced the team to look for a more incriminating culprit than tires; and they found it. The locker in the rear end of the car was broken. Car chief Wayne Wyatt looked to neighbor and fellow Dodge racer Mark Wertz for help. Mark answered the plea with the locker they needed to compete. After qualifying, Casey would start the 75 lap feature from fifth position.

The start of the race yielded an extremely tight racecar and the lack of long runs in the early laps of the race prevented the stagger from opening up .The Rogers Electrical Monte Carlo would get into the turns fairly well, but Casey had to earn his keep by maintaining fifth the entire race. The key to his success was keeping the car on the bottom of the track and keeping it square coming out of turns two and four. Casey’s father Wayne Wyatt commented “Casey drove his butt off tonight. There were at least three or four occasions when I knew we were taking this car home on a hook. He had his hands full coming off of turn two several times when the car was totally sideways. I’m very proud of him and his fifth place finish.”

The Rogers Electrical Monte Carlo will be taking a couple of weeks off as the Wyatt Motorsports crew prepares to return to Busch East racing on Saturday August 25. Casey and crew chief Sam Gaita are confident that they are getting closer to victory lane at Langley Speedway and look forward to returning to Langley competition. Casey and the team would like to thank car owner Butch Britt of Rogers Electrical for the opportunity to compete for him and Mark Wertz for offering the parts needed to do so.

Casey Wyatt is a rookie in the NASCAR Busch East series for Wyatt Motorsports, whom competes as part of this three kart Pro-Winged Champ Kart team owned by Bill Mullis, a two car Whelen All-American Late Model team owned by Butch Britt and a two car Legend team owned by Dee Causey.
